Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right. On 30 July 2020, the provider notified us of a safeguarding concern, including the safety of premises, child supervision and risk assessments. The notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the 'Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage' to notify Ofsted of a serious incident. On 6 August 2020 we conducted an unannounced visit to the setting. We found that the provider had taken prompt action to address the safety of the premises, child supervision and risk assessments. However, we have served a notice to improve. This is a legal notice that requires the provider to take the actions below within the timescales set

However, the provider did not demonstrate a secure understanding of the key-person requirement to meet the action set. Therefore, we have served a further notice to improve that requires the provider to take the actions below within the timescales set out. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.
