Summary of outcome
'All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the 'Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage', which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right. On 24 August 2020 we received concerns that this provider was not meeting some of these requirements. A visit to the premises was carried out and the provider was found to have been working on a number of occasions with three other adults. This is a breach to her childminding registration. Following discussion with the childminder, we are now satisfied that she has taken action to operate with only two other adults at any time. This is in line with her childminding registration. Furthermore, we have served a Welfare Requirements Notice. This is a legal notice that requires the provider to take the actions

Summary of outcome
We visited the provider on 23 September 2020. The provider had taken steps to ensure her assistants had increased their knowledge of their safeguarding practice. The assistants have taken part in safeguarding training and demonstrated a secure knowledge of how to recognise a child may be at risk of harm and how to report a concern about a child in their care. In addition, the assistants have increased their knowledge of what to do if an allegation was made against the provider, themselves or a household member. Furthermore, the assistants could demonstrate a good knowledge of up to date child protection legislation. We were satisfied the provider had taken appropriate action to comply with the Welfare Requirements Notice.
