Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage . If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right. On 19 August 2020, the childminder notified us that an allegation had been made against her. This notification means that the childminder met their legal responsibility as set out in the 'Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage' to notify Ofsted of any allegations which have been made within 14 days. The childminder will be able to give parents further information about this.

Summary of outcome
While enquiries were conducted we suspended the childminder's registration to allow time for the circumstances to be investigation. We conducted a regulatory telephone interview and an unannounced visit on 11 September 2020. Although it was not part of the original notification, we found that the childminder was not meeting a requirement within the EYFS relating to certain records which should be maintained. We served a notice of action to improve which requires the childminder to:

p.1
Summary of outcome
We have now lifted the suspension because the childminder has taken appropriate action and no further action is to be taken following enquiries made by other agencies. We are satisfied there is no risk of harm to children.
