Summary of outcome

All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the 'Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage', which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 14 February 2020 we carried out an inspection and found the childminder was not meeting some of the requirements of the early years foundation stage. The overall effectiveness of the provision was judged to be inadequate. We served a welfare requirement notice. This is a legal notice that requires the childminder to take action. The inspection report sets out the actions the provider was required to take to meet the requirements.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 18 August 2020 we contacted the childminder to check compliance with the actions listed in the welfare requirement notice issued at the inspection. It was found that the childminder had taken the required action. The childminder notified Ofsted about the persons working on the premises and appropriate checks have been completed. The provider now understands how to ensure that children are supervised by persons who are fully vetted for their suitability to work with children.

p.1

Summary of outcome

We are satisfied the provider has met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised at the last inspection.

p.1

Summary of outcome

The provider will be able to give parents further information about this. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.
