Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the 'Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage', which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 13 January 2020 we carried out an inspection and found the childminder was not meeting some of the requirements of the early years foundation stage. The overall effectiveness of the provision was judged to be inadequate. We served a welfare requirement notice. This is a legal notice that requires the provider to take action. The inspection report sets out the actions the provider was required to take to meet the requirements.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 28 January 2020 we visited the childminder to check compliance with the actions listed in the welfare requirement notice issued at the inspection. It was found that the provider had taken action by carrying out a thorough risk assessment and removing potential hazards that may harm children in the environment. In addition, she has removed obstructions that were in front of the fire exit and now ensures that the premises and floor space are now fit for purpose to meet children's needs. The childminder ensures the equipment and resources are organised in a way that meets the needs of the children and that children have access to outdoor activities on a daily basis. We are satisfied the childminder has met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised at the last inspection.

Summary of outcome
The childminder will be able to give parents further information about this. The childminder is still registered with Ofsted.
