Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the 'Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage', which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right. On 23 June 2020 we visited the provider as part of an application process for another proposed childminder to work with her in her home. During the visit we found that the provider was not meeting some of these requirements.
p.1
Summary of outcome
We issued a notice to improve. This is a legal notice that requires the provider to take the actions below within the timescales set out. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this. The provider is still registered with Ofsted. Actions needed by 21 July 2020:

Summary of outcome
-ensure that the premises are suitable and in a good state of repair, for example, by ensuring that glass is replaced, and the kitchen ceiling is repaired. We are fully aware of and understand that due to the current situation the provider has not been able to get repairs done to the home sooner.
p.1
Summary of outcome
The provider responded to the notice to improve and we are satisfied with the action they have taken. The provider has ensured that locks have been fitted to some cupboards, that pet medication is stored out of reach and that the kitchen ceiling has been repaired. She is still waiting for replacement glass for the entrance hall.
