The provision is good
The childminder is highly engaging, enthusiastic and caring. Children feel very safe, confident and secure in her care. The childminder knows the children very well and has high expectations for what they can achieve. She offers a wide range of activities, visits and outings to enrich children's learning experiences. They regularly visit local groups and socialise with other children. Other favourite outings include trips to feed carrots and apples to the local horses. These visits help to broaden children's experiences and help them to learn more about the area where they live. Children learn that butterflies grow in a cocoon and that hail is little frozen rain balls. They search for insects in the garden and examine them in 'bug collectors'. Children delight in the world around them. They are highly engaged and motivated learners.
