They share information about children's learning, behaviour, or any concerns they have, so that school staff are kept up to date. Staff support children's learning further by relating activities to topics currently taught in school, especially different cultural festivals. n Children have lots of time to chat with each other and staff. Safeguarding
Managers and staff understand their responsibilities to keep children safe. They have a secure understanding of the signs and symptoms which may indicate that a child is at risk of abuse. Managers and staff are clear about the procedures they must follow in the event of a concern about a child. They know what to do if a concern arises about an adult working with children. Indoor areas of the setting are routinely checked to ensure that the environment is safe for the children attending. Robust recruitment and suitability checking procedures are carried out to ensure that those working with children are suitable.
