The registered manager and two deputy managers have a good understanding of the service’s strengths and areas for development. They continue to enhance staff practice with training sessions, formal supervisions and regular team meetings. They encourage children to influence their own day-to-day care through discussions and key-work sessions. The previous requirement made at the last inspection has been met. Good focus is currently being given to a recruitment drive to increase the staff team. In the interim, a small, consistent team of agency staff works alongside the service’s permanent and experienced staff team. Inspection report children’s home: 2501555 3
