The provision is outstanding

Children truly thrive and are emotionally secure in this exceptionally warm and very welcoming family environment. The highly qualified childminder demonstrates a superb understanding of child development and how children learn and plans meticulously for children's individual needs. She affords children wonderful opportunities to learn about the world around them and provides an exciting array of rich and varied experiences that ignite children's passion and thirst for learning. For example, to develop children's awareness of others, the childminder has sourced storybooks in braille. She introduces these to the children, carefully explaining people's uniqueness, and encourages children to write their own names in braille. Furthermore, children engage regularly with the older generation during visits to a local residential home. These wonderful activities help children to develop an astute awareness of the communities in which they live.
