Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the 'Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage', which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2 . If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 13 December 2019, the provider notified us that there had been a safeguarding issue. The notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the early years foundation stage welfare requirements to notify Ofsted of such instances. This notification also raised concerns that this provider was not meeting some of these requirements. On 8 January 2020, we carried out a regulatory visit and found: all adult-to- child ratios were met; staff had completed safeguarding training; risk assessments are in place for children walking from the local school; managers had taken appropriate action, as a result of the incident; and, a minor policy amendment had been made. However, further weaknesses were identified in the safeguarding policy and also in the arrangements for collecting children from local schools by car.
p.1
Summary of outcome
We sent a Notice to Improve. This notice asked the provider to take the actions below within the timescales set out. The provider was able to give parents further information about this. The provider was still registered with Ofsted.
