Summary of outcome

All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the 'Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage', which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right. On 28 November 2019 we received concerns that this provider was not meeting some of these requirements. On 5 December 2019, we carried out an unannounced visit and found that: robust arrangements are not in place to ensure children are kept safe while on outings, the provider does not ensure that records are easily accessible and available, and she does not keep a daily record of the times that children are cared for. We issued the provider a notice to improve. Actions needed by 18 December 2019 – 3.65 review procedures to ensure children are kept safe while on outings, 3.69 ensure records are easily
