This provision meets requirements

n The childminder knows the value of working in partnership with parents, outside professionals and other early years providers. This helps to ensure continuity and progression in children's learning and development. n The childminder has a secure understanding of the learning and development requirements. For instance, she knows how to assess children's abilities and needs, and address any gaps in their learning to help them progress. The childminder uses this information to plan a broad range of activities to support children's learning and to help prepare them for the next stages in their development. n The childminder undertakes some relevant training and research, for example, to help keep her safeguarding knowledge up to date. She has a good understanding of how to recognise any signs that children may be at risk of harm or exposure to extremist behaviour. The childminder understands her responsibility to maintain records and to report any concerns she may have

about children's welfare. n The childminder knows how to evaluate her provision to help improve her practice and meet the needs of the children. For example, she considers feedback from parents and children when reflecting on her practice. n The childminder understands how to manage children's behaviour and help children to follow rules and boundaries, and respect each other's differences.

This provision meets requirements

There were no children present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
