Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the 'Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage', which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right. On 7 January 2020 we received concerns that this provider was not meeting some of these requirements. On 13 January 2020, we carried out a visit and found that: the provider does not take steps to ensure children are not exposed to risks in the setting; this relates to the storage of sharp objects in the kitchen. Additionally, the provider does not ensure records are easily accessible and available and does not keep a daily record of the hours of children's attendance.
