Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the 'Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage', which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right. On 8 October 2019 we received concerns that this provider was not meeting some of these requirements.

Summary of outcome
We visited the provider on 18 October 2019 and have served a Welfare Requirements Notice. This is a legal notice that requires the provider to take the actions below within the timescales set out. p.1
Summary of outcome
We made a follow up visit to the provider on 20 November 2019 to monitor the action they had taken. We found that the provider had taken some action to comply with some of the welfare requirements. For example, they have now completed a paediatric first aid course, the room used for overnight care is safe and suitable, the provider will not be using her car to transport minded children and she explained how she would ensure that children would always be within her sight and hearing.

Summary of outcome

Summary of outcome
After several attempted visits we re-visited the provider on 6 January 2020. Despite the provider taking appropriate action to comply with the welfare requirements notice we are taking steps to cancel the registration. This is in part due to concerns about the providers ability to maintain improvements made, which they have been unable to do in the past. The provider has a right to object to our intention to cancel their registration.
