the seven areas of learning. n The childminder is aware of how to support children to be ready for school, such as by encouraging their independence in managing their self-care needs. However, she does not always work effectively with other providers that children attend to ensure a consistent approach towards children's education. n The childminder discusses that she is aware of all records, policies and procedures that are required for the safe and efficient management of her childminding provision. The childminder and her assistant identify resources and activities that meet the children's interests. n The childminder shares that she is aware that some children may use another language, other than English. However, she has not considered effective strategies for children to develop and use their home language in play and learning.

This provision does not meet requirements
There were no children present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
