The provision is inadequate

Children are not sufficiently challenged in their learning as the childminder is unable to identify where she needs to improve her teaching practice. Her assessment of children's learning is weak. However, she does not use this information effectively to support her planning to help children make the progress they are capable of. The children have a good relationship with the childminder. They benefit from the consistent care and emotional warmth she provides for them. As a result, they are confident and behave appropriately.
