Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the 'Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage', which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2 . If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right. On 19 July 2019, the provider notified us about a safeguarding incident. The notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the early years foundation stage welfare requirements to notify Ofsted of such instances.

Summary of outcome
On 21 October 2019, we carried out a regulatory visit and found: adult-to-child ratios were met; staff have completed safeguarding training; staff have completed behaviour management training; and, managers have reviewed and updated the behaviour management policy. In the course of our visit, concerns were raised about the nursery's safeguarding policy and about handing over children to parents at the end of a session. We sent out a Notice to Improve. This is notice that asks the provider to take the actions below within the timescales set out. The provider was able to give parents further information about this. The provider was still registered with Ofsted.
