The provision is good

The childminder plans a curriculum of learning that interests and inspires children. Children make excellent progress and show their motivation in their learning. The childminder has a clear plan for children's learning and high ambition for what they can achieve. She ensures that activities are stimulating, responsive to children's interests and build on what they already know and can do.

The provision is good

The childminder plans activities outside of the home to ensure that children have regular fresh air and exercise. These activities also spark children's curiosity as they watch squirrels climb trees and listen to the sound of aeroplanes flying overhead. Children are articulate and rapidly increase their vocabulary as the childminder introduces them to new things.

p.2

The provision is good

Children are developing the skills they need to move on in their learning and eventually, start school. They concentrate and sustain their attention. Children's behaviour is good and they know what is expected of them. They are settled, secure and show high levels of confidence and self-esteem.

As a result, it is time consuming and lacks any benefit for the childminder's good planning of activities. n Children have an impressive ability to recognise and name shapes. They confidently name dodecahedrons and octagons by counting the sides of the shapes. This extensive mathematical knowledge is fostered well by the

There are rich and meaningful resources that reflect different
