n The childminder has insufficient knowledge of how to keep children safe on outings. For example, she does not ensure children are close by when taking them to and from school. The childminder failed to notify Ofsted of an incident where a child had moved out of her sight for a period of time. She acknowledged that she had overlooked this requirement. We are satisfied there was no intent to deceive Ofsted. n The childminder does not demonstrate enough knowledge about how risks need to be minimised or removed. For instance, she has not secured the toxic substances in the low cupboards effectively. Furthermore, the childminder has not removed the ivy that is accessible to children in the garden, to ensure children are kept safe and well. The childminder does not hold a current paediatric first-aid certificate. This compromises children's safety and well-being should an emergency occur that requires a child to receive first-aid treatment.

This provision does not meet requirements
There were no children present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
