This provision does not meet requirements

n The premises are not suitable for the care of children. There are a number of safety and hygiene hazards. The provider has previously been required to take action to address similar issues. n Surface water used to rinse away dog faeces and urine was present in the back yard. This had a strong odour of faeces and attracted flies, which were present near the entrance to the kitchen. The water was then carried indoors on the dog's feet and transferred onto the carpet and sofa in areas where the childminder indicates that children would play. n The kitchen is not suitable for the safe preparation of food. Surfaces are unclean and cluttered with items, including dog's dirty food and water bowls. n Although the childminder is aware of risks in her home, these have not been addressed. This includes the bathroom sink that is falling off the wall and waste in her garden that has not been removed. n The childminder has failed to maintain appropriate public liability insurance.

This provision does not meet requirements

There were no children present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
