This provision does not meet requirements

n The childminder does not hold a current paediatric first-aid certificate. This hinders her from taking the correct action in a medical emergency. However, she has started to address this and has booked herself a place on a training course. n The childminder does not understand all safeguarding issues, including the referral process if she has a concern about a child's welfare. She has not kept up to date with current legislation, in particular the 'Prevent' duty guidance, to enable her to safeguard children from extreme views and behaviours. n The childminder has an insufficient understanding of the learning and development requirements to enable her to plan appropriate learning experiences for children. n The childminder does not use self-evaluation effectively or keep her knowledge up to date to ensure she meets all the requirements. n The childminder recognises the benefits of helping children to lead healthy lifestyles,

p.1

This provision does not meet requirements

There were no children present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
