This provision does not meet requirements

n The childminder fails to keep a record of children's attendance. She does not implement an effective non-smoking policy. The childminder has not minimised some risks to children in the home, such as those in her front garden and upstairs. n The childminder has a good knowledge of the procedures to follow if she has a concern about a child's welfare. She has identified some weaknesses in her provision and taken action, such as improving safety on the school run and reviewing her documentation. However, this has not been rapid enough and breaches in requirements remain. n The childminder is aware of the need to monitor children's progress. She understands how to plan activities to promote children's learning and development. The childminder understands the benefits of working closely with parents and any professionals involved in children's lives to provide continuity of care and learning. n The childminder understands the importance of providing children with regular

p.1

This provision does not meet requirements

There were no children present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
