The childminder supports children to progress across all areas of learning through well- planned activities. Children have opportunities to develop their social skills as they take turns during play and share resources. The childminder interacts with enthusiasm and supports children's communication and language skills well. For example, when sharing stories, she uses clear, simple language that younger children can copy. Children's physical skills are promoted as they enjoy bouncing with the childminder on the trampoline in the garden. The childminder follows children's lead, adapting activities to maintain children's focus and attention. As a result, children are engaged and motivated in their learning. Children play happily alongside the childminder, filling and emptying containers during a water activity.

Children learn about different cultures and festivals around the world, helping them to respect and tolerate differences.
p.3
