For example, children attending other clubs when they leave her have a more substantial meal than those going home. Children have good opportunities to be active. They visit local parks after school with the childminder and play in her garden. During school holidays they travel further afield together to soft play and sports venues. The childminder promotes children's understanding of healthy habits, for example, she reminds them about washing hands before eating.
