Staff's effective monitoring determines how well children are making progress. Their planning is sharply focused and they base interesting and stimulating activities on children's next steps in learning. This helps to narrow any gaps in children's development rapidly. n Parents are very enthusiastic to share their highly positive feedback about the nursery. They are fully involved in their children's learning and appreciate the care and support that staff provide. For example, staff provide home-link books to support communication, and their advice and guidance contributes greatly to children's success at the nursery, particularly with toilet training. n All aspects of the nursery provision are closely monitored and evaluated to ensure
