This helps to promote children's confidence and emotional well-being.

Staff are vigilant and supervise children well. Managers ensure that careful risk assessments are made to help keep children safe. This includes, reviewing any accidents and incidents to identify how these can be minimised. Staff carry out regular checks of the environment to ensure it remains a safe place for children. There is robust recruitment, vetting and induction systems in place to ensure staff are suitable to work with children and staff are clear about their roles and responsibilities. The manager monitors staff's practice regularly. She provides feedback and coaching and encourages them to attend further training. This helps to build upon their already good knowledge and skills. Good partnerships with local schools and other settings help to complement children's care and learning
p.3

Staff provide children with snacks and meals that include a variety of fresh fruit and vegetables. Children have daily opportunities to be active and benefit from fresh air and exercise.
p.3

They have frequent opportunities to recognise their own name and practise their writing skills. Children are learning to do things for themselves. For example, they put on their shoes before going outside and manage their own personal needs.
