Mulberry House Care Homes Limited
Monitoring visit Inspected under the social care common inspection framework
p.1
Information about this children’s home
The home is operated by a private company. It offers long-term care and accommodation for two young people who have emotional and/or behavioural difficulties.
p.1
This monitoring visit
This monitoring visit took place to review the progress made in addressing the shortfalls which led to the suspension of the home’s registration. Since the last monitoring visit, both young people have moved out of the home and no further young people have been admitted. The provider has complied with the suspension of the registration and there are no young people living in the home. The acting manager has left the company and staff have been relocated to work in other homes within the company. There has been little progress in addressing the requirements set to improve the quality of care provided. Two damaged doors and two damaged windows have been replaced. There is no evidence that further action has been taken to address identified shortfalls. All of the previous requirements will be repeated to offer the provider an opportunity to demonstrate their compliance with regulation.
