They particularly praise how the staff have thoroughly prepared their children for school. n The environment is exceedingly rich in resources and equipment. For example, children thoroughly enjoy using the willow garden as a quiet area to read books and socialise with their friends. n Children show high levels of confidence in social situations. For example sharing meals together, children use excellent language skills they talk about the food they are eating and share stories about their favourite meals and restaurants. n Staff receive robust and regular supervision. p.2

Effectiveness of leadership and management is outstanding

The provider has worked exceptionally well since the last inspection to meet all the actions. There are now robust daily registers which help to ensure ratios are maintained and thorough risk reviews completed to help ensure children's safety. The provider has worked closely with the staff to successfully evaluate the setting and to make extremely effective changes to benefit the children's welfare and learning experiences. Staff, however, recognise that are more ways to help children to understand about technology. Safeguarding is effective. All staff have an excellent understanding of child protection and 'Prevent' duty, which is given high priority. Staff have a comprehensive knowledge of the appropriate procedures to follow and who the designated individuals are. There are exemplary recruitment policies that include measures to ensure staff are not disqualified and are suitable to work with children.

p.3

Quality of teaching, learning and assessment is outstanding

Staff use excellent systems of observation to assess children's development, helping them to plan for each child's individual learning experiences and how they can continue to support their progress. Children's learning is impressive and they make outstanding progress from their starting points. For example, children are overjoyed as they play in the outdoor area. They prepare cakes in the mud kitchen talking to staff about how to use the microwave. Staff use clear English and all experiences as learning opportunities, such as asking children about the microwave, and if their pans will fit in it. The staff have made excellent use of the indoor and outdoor environment. All children, including the younger ones make careful decisions about what they want to do next and select resources to support their ideas.

p.3

Personal development, behaviour and welfare are outstanding

All staff form extremely secure attachments with the children. Children are delighted as they arrive and they are very warmly welcomed by the highly motivated staff. Children demonstrate an exceptionally strong sense of belonging. They are very independent in this extremely safe and caring environment. Children and toddlers carefully serve themselves food from a buffet at mealtimes and carry their own plates to the table. They know how to keep themselves safe and act sensibly when successfully carrying out these tasks.

p.3

Outcomes for children are outstanding

Children make significant progress in their learning, including those children who are learning English as an additional language. Children use language to express how they are feeling and to share their ideas with their friends. They are highly equipped for their next stage in their learning. Children are confident and use their skills to problem solve. For example, they successfully decide how to move sand from one level to the next using a wheel and bucket.
