The provision does not meet requirements

 The childminder's paediatric first-aid certificate has expired. She can, however, demonstrate how she plans to keep children safe, including the risk assessment of her premises. The childminder knows how to identify a wide range of signs that may indicate a child is at risk of harm. She clearly explains the procedures to follow if she has any concerns.  The childminder understands the importance of working with parents. For example, she knows the benefits of gathering information about children's starting points in learning. She knows how to make regular assessments of children's progress and use the information to plan a range of challenging and exciting activities.  The childminder knows how to promote positive behaviour and support children to develop their well-being.  The childminder describes how she intends to reflect on her practice and make changes that will benefit children.

The provision does not meet requirements

There were no children present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
