extremely detailed information to provide a superb continued approach to children's learning.  Children engage in highly enthralling activities that help them to develop an excellent understanding of the differences between themselves and others. For example, they have remarkable opportunities to develop knowledge of other languages.  Staff have an uncompromising attitude towards continued professional development. For example, they attended mathematical training and now provide enriched learning opportunities that mean children develop exceedingly high mathematical awareness.

Inspection activities

 The inspector had a tour of the premises with the provider.  The inspector considered the views of parents, committee members and children.  The inspector observed the quality of teaching during outdoor and indoor activities, and assessed the impact on children's learning.  The inspector completed a joint observation with the manager.  The inspector had discussions with the manager and staff, and reviewed a range of documents, including observations, planning and tracking of children's progress.

p.2

Effectiveness of the leadership and management is outstanding

Safeguarding is effective. Very well-trained staff have a meticulous understanding of highly effective safeguarding practice and keep very detailed records. They are able to act swiftly to identify any child protection concerns and share these with the relevant agencies. The manager follows exceptionally rigorous recruitment and vetting procedures to ensure all staff are suitable to work with children. The manager is extremely passionate and highly committed to help all children achieve the best possible outcomes. For example, she ensures staff complete highly detailed observations of their practice to assess the quality of teaching and learning. The manager uses these, along with staff supervisions, to identify ways to further improve the exceedingly high-quality teaching.

p.3

Quality of teaching, learning and assessment is outstanding

The manager liaises very closely with staff and precisely reviews children's progress. Staff rapidly identify and address gaps in children's learning. They plan highly captivating activities that help children to control their tongue and develop muscles in and around their mouth, to prepare them very well for speech. For example, children blow bubbles using various sized wands. They blow tissue paper fish and race them with their friends along the floor. Children make tremendous progress and any gaps in learning close rapidly. Staff expertly provide resources and equipment that help children develop excellent writing skills from a very early age. For example, children strengthen muscles in their arms, hands and fingers as they recreate letters using large movements with pieces of ribbon. This helps children to develop new skills at an exceptional rate.

p.3

Personal development, behaviour and welfare are outstanding

Staff know the children tremendously well. They have exceedingly high expectations of all children and their behaviour. For example, to develop children's concentration, engagement and sharing of resources even further, staff provide sand timers, explaining what they are made of, where they come from and their uses, which keep children highly motivated and focused during activities. Children build on their learning with an increasingly high degree of self-control. Children learn to be patient, tolerant and very caring individuals. Staff provide very good activities that support children's exceptional awareness of keeping healthy. For example, with staff, children grow fruit and vegetables to make healthy meals and share these with family. The manager has plans to extend outdoor learning even further, to enhance the already excellent arrangements for children to learn more about making healthy choices.

p.3

Outcomes for children are outstanding

All children very confidently use numbers and recognise corresponding values in their play. Older children learn how to competently write their names. Younger children recognise their name from an early stage, as they independently complete challenging daily routines. Children gain excellent skills that prepare them exceptionally well for the next stages in their learning, including school.
