The provision does not meet requirements

 The childminder does not keep abreast of early years foundation stage and childcare register requirements. She does not identify weaknesses in practice or fully understand her roles and responsibilities. This impacts on her ability to ensure that statutory requirements are met and maintained.  The childminder failed to tell Ofsted about changes that may affect her suitability and keep appropriate records of children's details and attendance.  The childminder's knowledge of the learning and development requirements is limited. As a result she is not clear how to assess children’s development and provide challenging learning activities that help children to make good progress.  Safeguarding is ineffective because the childminder does not have sufficient understanding of procedures to follow when there are concerns about children's welfare. Furthermore, she is not clear of the procedures to follow in the event of an

The provision does not meet requirements

There were no children present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
