 The weaknesses identified at the last inspection have not been addressed. The childminder does not have a sound understanding of the areas of learning and development. For example, she does not know to use ongoing assessment to support children's good progress.  The childminder has failed to ensure that she maintains a current paediatric first-aid qualification.  The childminder does not have a secure understanding of her responsibilities to safeguard children. For example, she is unaware of the procedure to follow should an allegation be made against herself or a member of her household.  The childminder does not demonstrate sufficient knowledge and understanding of wider safeguarding issues, including awareness of the 'Prevent' duty.  The childminder does not understand the procedures to follow regarding the protection of children's data.  The childminder demonstrates a secure knowledge of how to help children adopt

p.1

The provision does not meet requirements

There were no children present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
