The manager is highly reflective and ensures that the strengths and weaknesses of the provision are identified. She plans targeted improvements to ensure children have excellent opportunities and experiences at the club. The manager regularly completes staff supervision and supports their ongoing professional development. Staff are deployed well and communicate very effectively to ensure the smooth running of daily routines. Parents' views are evaluated and considered. For example, more time for the children to practise playing their musical instruments has been implemented and a designated homework table organised at their request. The manager is keen to continue to further support the children's learning and development through working in partnership with the host school.
p.3

Children learn to respect other people's views and beliefs. They find out about traditions in their own and other cultures. Staff help children to develop literacy skills and support their writing as opportunities arise. For example, paper, pens and chalks are taken outdoors to continue a writing activity that children have enjoyed indoors. Parents are fully involved in their children's experiences and receive ongoing information about their child's achievements.
p.3

They are developing an excellent awareness of healthy lifestyles and remind each other to wash their hands before eating. Children form close bonds with the nurturing staff and they are happy and settle quickly into the routines of the club.
