The provision meets requirements
There were no children present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
p.1
Inspection activities
The inspector saw relevant documentation, including paediatric first-aid qualifications and public liability insurance. The inspector talked with the childminder about practice, including how she assesses children's learning to ensure that they make good progress from their starting points. The inspector asked the childminder questions throughout the inspection to establish her understanding of the statutory requirements. The inspector discussed the range of relevant policies the childminder has in place and how she plans to implement them. The inspector checked the arrangements for safeguarding.
