p.1

The provision does not meet requirements

 The childminder shows disregard for her responsibility to meet the legal requirements. She has failed to take action to address weaknesses in her provision identified at the last inspection. She has a reluctance to improve her knowledge and practice. Therefore, she does not demonstrate the capacity to improve.  The childminder does not have a secure understanding of her responsibilities to safeguard children. For example, she is unaware of how to identify or report concerns that she may have regarding a child. She lacks awareness of the 'Prevent' duty guidance. This compromises children's welfare.  The childminder does not have an effective safeguarding procedure. She has not considered the safe use of mobile phones and cameras in the setting. She is unaware of the action to take if an allegation is made against her or a household member.  The childminder cares for children before and after school. She does not plan activities

p.1

The provision does not meet requirements

There were no children present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
