All children have an amazing time exploring their environment and following their interests. Staff plan an exceptional range of activities and experiences that covers all aspects of children's learning. Children are highly motivated, curious and inspired to try new experiences. They are eager to learn and demonstrate tremendous confidence as they join in with discussions and suggest ideas. For example, as they discuss butterflies, children estimate the size of their wing span. They then suggest and provide food for the insects. Staff interact extremely well with children. They adeptly promote children's listening, understanding, speaking and new vocabulary. Staff provide exceptional opportunities for parents to become involved in their children's learning. For example, children thoroughly enjoy balancing on some climbing equipment and confidently jump from post to post. Older children support younger children extremely well. They show concern as younger children also jump with them. They use encouraging words and offer their hands to them as a source of support. Staff provide consistent messages to help children manage their own behaviour efficiently, such as waiting their turn and being nice to each other. Staff praise children highly when they are being thoughtful and kind. This promotes their self-esteem and emotional well-being exceptionally well.
