The provision does not meet requirements

 The childminder has not attended child protection training to help her to identify possible signs that a child's welfare may be at risk. This compromises children's welfare.  The childminder is unaware of the dangers of sharing children's photographs on social media. This is a breach of children's privacy and confidentiality.  The childminder does not have public liability insurance in place. She is not aware of her responsibility to keep a written record of accidents, injuries or first-aid treatment.  The childminder does not have sufficient knowledge of the different ways in which children learn. This limits her ability to observe, plan and assess activities effectively.  The childminder does not have systems in place for self-evaluation to help drive improvements in her practice.  The childminder explains the importance of working closely with parents. She aims to gather information from parents and keep them informed about their child's progress.

The provision does not meet requirements

There were no children present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
