The provision does not meet requirements

 The childminder is aware of safeguarding signs that may give cause for concern and knows that she needs to report any safeguarding matters. However, she does not know about the Local Safeguarding Children Board procedures and who to report concerns to. The childminder does not have a secure knowledge of the Prevent Duty.  The childminder does not have accurate safeguarding policies and procedures to follow, should she have a concern about a child and in the event of any allegations. This is a breach of the Childcare Register requirements.  The childminder knows how to provide toys and activities to support children's learning. She understands how to monitor children's progress and to plan for their next steps.  The childminder understands the importance of working in partnerships with parents and others, to support children's individual needs.  The childminder conducts risk assessments to help minimise hazards to children.

p.1

The provision does not meet requirements

There were no children present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
