p.1

The provision does not meet requirements

 Safeguarding is ineffective. The childminder has failed to inform Ofsted of people working, and changes to those living, in her home. This compromises children's safety as the suitability and vetting checks Ofsted require have not been completed.  The childminder does not have a current first-aid certificate.  The qualified childminder has many years' experience. However, she has not evaluated her practice or considered how she can continue to develop her skills and update her knowledge through further training. Consequently, she does not have a thorough understanding of the requirements she must meet.  The childminder has an understanding of child protection. She recognises the signs that children may be at risk of harm and knows who to contact should she have concerns.  The childminder understands how to promote children's emotional well-being. She describes how she supports children to develop confidence, independence and good

p.1

The provision does not meet requirements

There were no children present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
