They make a significant contribution to the extremely focused support that children and their families receive, ensuring that children's needs are met exceedingly well.  Staff provide excellent opportunities for children to extend their learning in different environments. Effectiveness of the leadership and management is outstanding

Safeguarding is effective. All staff receive high levels of training to ensure they maintain an excellent and up-to-date understanding of how to manage any child protection concerns. Rigorous recruitment and induction procedures ensure that staff are suitable for the role. Managers observe staff, set them challenging targets and hold them accountable for children's achievement. Managers and staff closely track the progress of each child, although they do not yet track groups of children as precisely. The managers inspire staff to continue their professional development. For example, they encourage staff to obtain further training and qualifications, and to share their experiences with colleagues. Self- evaluation is outstanding. Managers act effectively on the views of staff, parents, children and others to provide an excellent service.

p.3

Quality of teaching, learning and assessment is outstanding

Children enjoy an excellent and exciting range of activities. The environment is organised exceptionally well to provide superb learning opportunities, indoors and outdoors, that meet the needs and interests of individual children. Children are extremely well motivated and excited to learn. For example, many of the older children competently write their name and use their understanding of letter sounds to read words and short sentences. Younger children thoroughly enjoy sorting and matching items by colour, shape or size, and staff encourage them to count and describe what they are doing. Staff constantly praise children for their inventive ideas and contributions. Children are extremely proud of their achievements.

p.3

Personal development, behaviour and welfare are outstanding

Relationships between staff and children are excellent, and staff build very strong partnerships with parents. Staff are excellent role models for children. All children are extremely happy, settled and secure. They behave exceptionally well and display remarkable self-control. Children are consistently kind, polite and considerate towards each other and make friends easily. They demonstrate an excellent knowledge of healthy eating habits. For instance, children explain that they must drink water or they will get dehydrated. Staff provide a wide range of superb opportunities to support children's physical development. Children have excellent first-hand opportunities to learn about the community in which they live, for example, through regular visitors to the nursery.

p.3

Outcomes for children are outstanding

Children are confident, highly motivated and eager to learn. They develop excellent speaking and listening skills. Older children order numerals, and add and subtract quantities of objects confidently. All children make excellent progress from their different starting points. They are exceptionally well-prepared for the next stages of their learning.
