regular checks on all areas accessed by children help to ensure they are safe and suitable for the care of children. The childminder understands the importance of teaching children about healthy lifestyles. The childminder has a gentle, caring nature and acknowledges the different needs and abilities of individual children. She understands how to promote children's emotional well-being and how to manage their behaviour effectively. The childminder attends training courses and shares ideas and information about developments with the other childminders she works with. This helps her to build on her current skills and extend her knowledge. The childminder works with her colleagues to review the services they currently provide as a team. She also intends to look more closely at her individual practice to identify areas that could be further developed to improve outcomes for children.

The provision meets requirements
There were no children present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
p.1
Inspection activities
