The provision does not meet requirements

 The childminder has allowed her public liability insurance to expire. This is a breach of the Early Years and Childcare Register requirements.  The childminder continually updates and improves her knowledge and understanding, such as through many professional development opportunities. For example, she has undertaken training courses in her additional role while working in a pre-school.  The childminder knows how to observe and assess children's learning, and to use this information to help her plan activities to help children make suitable progress and prepare them for their next stage of learning, including school.  The childminder knows the importance of sharing information with parents and other settings children may attend to help her establish a consistent approach to children's learning and care.  The childminder understands how to promote children's emotional and physical well- being. For example she knows the importance of providing children with healthy food

p.1

The provision does not meet requirements

There were no children present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
