Summary of complaint
On 25 January 2017, we received information that raised concerns about the provider's ability to meet the early years foundation stage requirements. At the inspection, we looked at the concerns, in particular the requirement relating to accident or injury, changes that must be notified to Ofsted. We found that the provider had failed to notify Ofsted of a serious accident where a child received emergency hospital treatment. The legal requirements for the early years foundation stage are not met. Following our inspection, we sent the provider a notice to improve asking them to: inform Ofsted of significant events, particularly with regards to children involved in a serious accident, within 14 days of the accident occurring. The provider remains registered with Ofsted.
