This provision is outstanding
Observations and assessments of children's progress are very precise. This helps staff ensure their high-quality teaching is specifically targeted. Children make rapid progress in their learning from the start. Evaluations of staff's teaching practice and supervision are given the utmost priority. The owners place a strong emphasis on continued professional development. This ensures the highly qualified staff team uses all their expert skills and knowledge to the fullest potential. Children benefit from a rich, very well-planned learning environment. They enjoy a wealth of opportunities to make choices and lead their own learning, adeptly supported by staff. They are curious, motivated and show a very positive attitude to learning. Staff maintain excellent partnerships with parents. Parents are very eager to share highly positive feedback about the nursery. They readily say that staff support children

and families exceptionally well. Parents are valued partners who are constantly involved in their child's learning and are extremely well informed about progress and achievements. The emotional security, confidence and high level of well-being that children show within this nursery are exceptional. Home visits are carried out prior to children starting so that staff get to know the child and their family. Staff work closely with parents to settle their child into nursery and visits are based on the needs of the child and family. Staff have worked determinedly to develop excellent partnerships with other professionals, such as teachers of schools where children will move on to. Staff take children for visits to the new setting and teachers visit children at nursery. Staff in the nursery organise areas to reflect the school environment to help children understand what it will be like.

Inspection activities
The inspector observed the quality of teaching during activities indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact this has on children's learning. The inspector spoke with staff and children during the inspection. The inspector completed a joint observation with the nursery manager. The inspector held a meeting with the nursery manager and provider. She looked at relevant documentation and evidence of the suitability of staff working in the nursery. The inspector spoke to a number of parents during the inspection and took account of their views. The inspector had a tour of the premises.

Effectiveness of the leadership and management is outstanding
Safeguarding is effective. Staff implement the rigorous procedures and risk assessments very efficiently to ensure children receive the best possible care and are kept safe. All staff have attended safeguarding training and have an expert understanding of the procedures to follow if they have a concern about a child's well-being. The directors and staff are extremely committed to continuously evaluating the nursery. Action plans are extremely sharply focused and include the views of parents, children and staff. Children's views are gained through them placing happy or sad faces in areas of the nursery, to identify what they do and do not like. This helps staff to identify what needs changing and to drive improvement, benefiting children to the highest possible level.
p.3
Quality of teaching, learning and assessment is outstanding
The manager and staff accurately monitor children's development to highlight any areas where they might need extra support. They quickly help them to catch up if needed. The owners and staff also look at different groups of children to see if the setting can make improvements to support those particular children. Children eagerly participate in a wide and exciting range of well-planned and freely chosen learning opportunities. Staff proficiently follow children's lead and facilitate their ideas and suggestions excellently. For example, four-year-olds enjoy building models. Staff incorporate mathematics encouraging children to count in the right order and to understand how many they will have if they add one more. Two-year-olds learn how to use information technology resources. They touch the screen to identify animals and listen to the sounds that they make. Staff are extremely effective in supporting children who speak English as an additional language. Staff learn

words in the child's home language and use them to help build children's communication skills in English.
p.3
Personal development, behaviour and welfare are outstanding
Children's behaviour is exemplary. Staff are extremely aware of the varying needs of the children who attend and show great patience and understanding when dealing with behaviour. They place significant emphasis on teaching children to gain independence and provide them with plenty of opportunities to complete simple tasks to achieve this. For example, during snack time, children competently butter their toast and pour their own drinks. Children develop an excellent understanding of the importance of good health and hygiene. Staff teach them how to clean their teeth effectively and to understand what may happen to their teeth if they do not clean them regularly. Children have plenty of opportunities to continue their learning outdoors and to be physically active. They learn how to manage risk highly effectively, such as using stairs and equipment safely.
p.3
Outcomes for children are outstanding
Children are exceptionally well prepared for the next stage in their learning and for their move on to school. All children, including those who require additional support or speak English as an additional language, make exceptional progress. Children's ability to listen, maintain attention and follow instructions is developing very well. They play happily alongside others and learn how to share resources.
