The provision does not meet requirements
The childminder fails to meet a number of the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage and Childcare Register. Children are not kept safe from harm because the childminder does not have an up to date understanding of safeguarding. Children's behaviour is not managed in a positive way in order for them to understand what is expected and why. Children's confidential records are not kept securely. Resources provided for children to explore outside are not fit for purpose. For example, a sand play area is not fit for purpose. It is not fully resourced or covered when not in use. Provision for children who want to sleep is not adequate. Young children are not given appropriate sleeping arrangements and bedding in order to promote good health.
p.1
The provision does not meet requirements
There were no children present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
