The provision does not meet requirements

 The childminder does not reflect on all areas of her practice effectively. She has not completed the required checks for all people over the age of 16 years living on the premises. This is also a breach of the Childcare Register requirements.  The childminder knows the procedures to follow if she has a concern about a child to protect their welfare. She keeps the records of the children's hours of attendance, as required.  The childminder recognises the importance to keep her early years knowledge up to date, for example, she researches and reads.  The childminder knows how children develop. She understands how to observe, assess and monitor their progress, and to plan for children's next steps in learning.  The childminder understands the need to work in partnerships with parents and others involved in children's care to provide continuity for their learning and development.  The childminder knows how to promote children's health and behaviour and how to

p.1

The provision does not meet requirements

There were no children present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
