Staff provide natural materials for children to feel and examine. The nursery cook provides children with fresh, nutritionally balanced and healthy food. Staff talk to children about the names of the vegetables on their plates. Children enjoy singing and dancing to music. They like making sounds and movements, such as with musical instruments and streamers. Children explore the traditions and festivals of their friends. Staff teach children to share and be kind to each other.

p.3
