Highly robust systems ensure there is careful monitoring of children's arrival and departure times. Parents sign their children in and out of the club helping to ensure that children are kept safe. There are extremely strong relationships between parents, the school and staff at the club ensuring that all are involved in driving forward improvements. In the creative area, children take turns to make a cape for Halloween. Older children support younger children with the selection of arts and crafts materials to make the cape, which helps to enhance their understanding of sharing and turn taking. Staff proficiently guide children during their activities. Very well supported by staff, younger children enjoy playing with the pretend kitchen, choosing which food to cook and which utensils to use. The relaxation area is exceptionally well resourced. This enables older children to use the computer tablets to play games together and encourages their critical-thinking skills.

p.3

They form strong bonds and emotionally secure attachments with their key person. Children also enjoy the physical activities on offer, for example, they skilfully play table tennis in the school hall and the relish opportunities to join in football games.
