For example, the childminder notices when children are tired or hungry and quickly responds to their needs. The childminder supports children's understanding of safety. For example, she helps children learn road safety on outings. The childminder helps children to understand differences in others' lives and beliefs other than their own. For instance, they learn about different festivals throughout the year.
